Hi there!

My name is Melissa and I am a freelance artist and art educator. I am currently applying to grad school for Art Therapy while running a small, independent business out of Art Design Exchange (ADX), a maker’s space in Portland, OR. I love teaching and offer both in-person (with Covid precautions) woodburning workshops as well as Zoom art lessons to kids. Please contact me for more information or to schedule a class.

My background is in Art History and I had the pleasure of working in the Education Department at the Art Institute of Chicago, IL as well as at the Peggy Guggenheim in Venice, Italy. Before the pandemic I was the lead Ceramics instructor at Grace Art Institute and a craft instructor at DIY Bar in Portland.
